2 1/2 Year Old Bison Bull Hunt

This is 1/2 day hunt. There is lodging and meals available in Wheatland, which is 30 miles from the ranch. We will expertly field dress your animal and load it onto your open bed pickup or open trailer. It is your responsibility to arrange for a processor in advance and haul the animal to them. We can give you suggestions for processors closest to our ranch. Find out more under processing.

All hunts start at 8:00 A.M. or 1:00 P.M., with a maximum of 3 animals taken per day. 

Our 2 1/2 Year Old Bulls have a beautiful coat that could still make for a nice robe or head mount.

Our guide is the best in the business and will be with you the whole way to track down a great bull with you.

Bison are tough! These hunts are for experienced hunters. You’ll need to use at least a .30 caliber or larger rifle and solid bullets, such as Nosler Solid, Barnes Banded Solid, or North Fork Technologies Solids. Our skilled guide will help you make a good stalk and get a clean shot.

The deposit is 50% of the price, due when your hunt date is confirmed. The cost for this hunt is $4,200. The remainder due may be paid the day of your hunt. If you should need to cancel your hunt and if you notify us before May 1st, the year of your hunt, we will return the entire deposit to you; after that date, we will keep $50.00 and return the remainder. No permit is needed and there are no other fees. This hunt is a great alternative if you didn’t get your elk tag!
